Bayern Munich enter the 2026-27 Bundesliga campaign as clear frontrunners for another top-four finish, building on their dominant 2025-26 title win with additions like Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown to support Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Jamal Musiala. Early results show surprise packages SC Freiburg and Borussia Dortmund atop the table after three matchdays, while Bayern sit fourth amid a mixed start. Traditional challengers RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, and VfB Stuttgart face squad turnover and new managerial setups that could influence consistency. Fixture congestion from European ties, plus promoted sides like Elversberg, add volatility to the race for Champions League spots, with trader pricing reflecting Bayern’s depth as the primary driver of consensus.
