The tightly bunched market for third place in the 2026-27 Ligue 1 reflects a competitive chasing pack behind PSG and a projected second-place side like Lens. Last season’s finishers Lille (third), Lyon (fourth), Marseille (fifth), Rennes, and Monaco enter with broadly comparable squad depth, recent European experience, and summer reinforcements that have not created a clear hierarchy. Early 2026-27 results show parity among these clubs, while managerial changes at Marseille and financial oversight at Lyon add variables without shifting consensus dramatically. Traders see realistic paths to the final Champions League or Europa League spots for any of the group, depending on form, injuries, and head-to-head results across a congested fixture list.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Ligue 1 as finishing in third place. If multiple teams are officially awarded third place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 3rd in the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season, the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 3rd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official information from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
