Early in the 2026 NCAA Football season, a wide field of quarterbacks from high-volume passing offenses across Power conferences and Group of Five programs remains closely bunched in the D1 passing touchdowns leader market. Standouts such as Jayden Maiava at USC, Darian Mensah at Miami, Dante Moore at Oregon, and others like Kevin Jennings, Gunner Stockton, and Caden Veltkamp have posted strong early totals through the opening weeks, reflecting favorable offensive schemes, receiver talent, and schedule spots. Traders' consensus around the mid-40s to low-50s percentages captures the uncertainty of a full season, where factors like injuries, defensive adjustments, and late surges by names including Julian Sayin, Arch Manning, and Noah Fifita could shift outcomes. This depth underscores how passing touchdown production often hinges on team context and sustained efficiency rather than preseason expectations alone.
