This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 MAC Football Championship Game, determining the champion of the Mid-American Conference for the 2026 college football season, currently scheduled for December 5, 2026. If this championship is postponed after December 19, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple teams are declared co-champions, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Mid-American Conference (https://mac-sports.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Western Michigan, Miami (OH), and Toledo enter the 2026 MAC season as the top cluster of contenders according to preseason coaches polls and early market pricing, each returning experienced quarterbacks and core offensive pieces from recent title-game appearances. A group of six teams sits within a narrow margin in projected strength, with Ohio, Central Michigan, and others benefiting from solid returning production and favorable early schedules. This parity across the conference, combined with the typical volatility of MAC play and limited nonconference testing before league action begins in September, keeps implied probabilities tightly bunched rather than concentrated on any single program. Trader consensus reflects the uncertainty inherent in a deep field where small edges in roster continuity or early results could shift the outcome.
