NFL preseason Week 1 results and early power rankings are shaping trader views on 2026 postseason odds, with established contenders like the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, and Philadelphia Eagles holding strong implied probabilities due to roster continuity and quarterback stability. Rebuilding sides such as the Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins face uphill paths amid quarterback competitions and recent poor records, though historical data shows occasional long-shot breakthroughs. Key upcoming factors include final roster cuts, injury reports from training camp, and schedule strength in division races or wild-card battles. Preseason performances by rookies and new signees provide initial signals, but regular-season form and health will drive later market shifts as the 17-game slate approaches.
