The 2026 Liga 1 season remains tightly contested for most clean sheets because no single side has established a clear defensive edge through the completed Apertura and early Clausura stages. Alianza Lima leads the aggregate table with the fewest goals conceded overall, yet Sport Boys, Deportivo Garcilaso, Atlético Grau, and several mid-table sides like Deportivo Moquegua and Alianza Atlético have posted comparable shutout tallies in recent matches, aided by solid goalkeeping and low-scoring results. With roughly half the schedule remaining and multiple teams separated by just a handful of clean sheets, minor swings in form, set-piece defending, or goalkeeper rotation can still shift the leader. Trader consensus reflects this parity, pricing a broad group of contenders in a narrow band.
