The Russian southpaw’s technical volume striking and proven knockout power give him a decisive edge over the 9-1 Tallison Teixeira, whose size and reach advantages have yet to translate consistently at the UFC level following a first-round knockout loss to Derrick Lewis last summer. Teixeira rebounded with a decision win over Tai Tuivasa in January, but the matchup pits his raw power against Pavlovich’s superior experience and finishing rate. No injuries or late changes have been reported ahead of the May 30 event in Macau, keeping focus on how Pavlovich’s welterweight-level movement and combination punching could force an early stoppage or control the fight on the feet.
