Joe Pyfer’s recent TKO victory over Israel Adesanya in the March 2026 UFC Seattle main event elevated the middleweight to the No. 7 ranking and positioned him as a rising contender. With no fight announced as of mid-June, traders see a cluster of logical next opponents among the division’s top tier: Caio Borralho (recently injured and forced out of a prior booking against Pyfer), Nassourdine Imavov, Anthony Hernandez, and Brendan Allen. These fighters sit immediately above or adjacent in the rankings, share comparable recent form, and offer stylistic matchups that align with typical matchmaking for a fighter coming off a signature win. The near-even probabilities reflect this competitive depth and the absence of a clear frontrunner or title-shot trajectory, while champion Dricus Du Plessis remains a distant long shot absent further movement up the ladder.
