Cheryl Reeve holds the clearest edge in the 2026 WNBA Coach of the Year market because her Minnesota Lynx own the league’s best record at 31-9 despite entering the year with major roster turnover and an extended absence for Napheesa Collier. Reeve has integrated rookie Olivia Miles effectively while maintaining top-tier offensive and defensive efficiency. Natalie Nakase sits second after guiding the Golden State Valkyries to a 29-11 mark in her second season, building on the 2025 expansion success that earned her the prior award. Sydney Johnson’s Washington Mystics have also exceeded preseason expectations at 25-16 in a rebuild, though their probability trails well behind the top two. The remaining candidates, including Becky Hammon and others, register minimal implied probabilities consistent with their teams’ more modest or expected outcomes.
