The Ukrainian-Japanese pairing has compiled a solid record in recent tournaments, including wins over higher-ranked teams, while adapting well to slower surfaces that reward consistent net play and return depth. In contrast, the young Karamoko/Marcinko team, featuring the emerging Croatian singles specialist Marcinko, has limited combined doubles history at this level and faces a tough test against veterans who excel in tiebreak situations and long rallies. Weather conditions in Rabat remain typical for May with moderate temperatures unlikely to disrupt play.
