Hayata sharpened her form at the ongoing ITTF World Team Championships in London, posting 3-0 shutouts over Prithika Pavade and Xialian Ni plus a 3-1 win over Tin-Tin Ho, while Sorochinska-Bilenko pushed U.S. standout Lily Zhang to 1-3 in round-of-16 action before exiting. Absent head-to-head history amplifies uncertainty; odds could shift on late injury reports, table draw, or warmup intensity favoring either the attacker's power or defender's endurance.
