Bocchi holds the ranking edge as the higher-seeded Italian at approximately 610, compared to Salazar Martinez’s position near 779, giving the Italian a modest but clear advantage in this Sion Challenger qualifying opener on hard courts. Recent form shows both players posting mixed results on the Challenger and ITF circuit, with Bocchi securing several straight-set victories in the lead-up while Salazar Martinez alternates wins and losses. The Italian’s greater experience at this level and familiarity with European hard-court conditions further support trader consensus favoring him. Surface speed and any late withdrawal or fitness updates could still shift the implied probabilities in this closely contested first-round qualifier.
