Alexander Weis enters this ITF M25 Lesa clay-court match as the clear ranking favorite at No. 564 against 19-year-old Kasra Rahmani, ranked No. 791, reflecting Weis’s greater experience and career-high mark of 285. The Italian has navigated recent ITF events steadily, including a win over Niccolo Catini here, while Rahmani advanced past Giacomo Crisostomo but remains early in his professional development with a career-high of 677. No prior head-to-head exists, so surface familiarity on European clay and Weis’s physical maturity at age 29 versus the teenager’s limited pro seasoning stand out as primary differentiators. Both players carry recent wins into the round of 16, yet the sizable ranking gap and home-soil edge shape trader consensus around the more established competitor.
