Carlos Alcaraz's dominant run to the 2026 Australian Open men's singles title, capped by a comeback 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, 7-5 final victory over 10-time champion Novak Djokovic, has resolved the Polymarket at 100% trader consensus, marking his first AO crown and youngest-ever career Grand Slam completion at age 22. As world No. 1 top seed, Alcaraz overcame a grueling semifinal marathon against Alexander Zverev (5+ hours), quarterfinal edge over Alex de Minaur, and benefited from retirements like Tommy Paul's in round four, showcasing superior endurance and hard-court adaptability. No notable developments have emerged in the past 30 days since the February 1 conclusion; pre-resolution threats like Djokovic's experience or draw upsets proved surmountable, with Grigor Dimitrov's first-round exit to Tomas Machac confirming his minimal positioning.
