The tightly bunched implied probabilities around 45% for a dozen Liga 1 sides reflect a wide-open title race driven by balanced squad depth across the 18-team field and the split Apertura-Clausura format that rewards consistency through playoffs. Recent Clausura results show Deportivo Garcilaso, Alianza Lima, Sporting Cristal, and FBC Melgar trading points at the top, while newcomers Deportivo Moquegua and FC Cajamarca have posted surprising early wins that keep their title chances alive. Defending champions Universitario sit lower in the market despite historical pedigree, underscoring how injuries, fixture congestion, and variable home/away splits have prevented any single club from pulling clear. This parity leaves realistic paths for several mid-table sides to surge in the final months.
