The 2026-27 Scottish Premiership runner-up market reflects broad parity across a deep field, with no single club establishing clear separation after pre-season squad rebuilds and managerial changes. Celtic’s projected dominance at the top leaves second place contested among Rangers, who added experience under new leadership, Hearts following last season’s near-miss before key departures, and clubs such as Aberdeen, Hibernian, and Motherwell bolstered by targeted recruitment. Dundee United, Kilmarnock, and St Mirren also sit within the group on the back of solid recent form and European ambitions, while promoted sides like Falkirk introduce fresh variables. This clustering of comparable squad depth, fixture difficulty, and European qualification incentives sustains tight implied probabilities through the campaign’s early months.
