Nigeria, Madagascar, Guinea-Bissau, and host Tanzania enter AFCON 2027 qualifying Group L with the campaign set to open in late September. Tanzania has already secured its finals berth as a co-host, leaving one qualifying spot for the remaining sides. Nigeria holds the highest FIFA ranking and strongest recent form among the contenders, yet all four teams start level on points ahead of Matchday 1 fixtures that pair Nigeria against Madagascar and Tanzania against Guinea-Bissau. The tight clustering of implied probabilities reflects the early stage, limited head-to-head data in this exact group, and the inherent variability of African qualifiers where away results and squad depth can quickly shift standings. Traders appear to weigh Nigeria’s pedigree against the realistic chance of competitive results from the other nations over the six-match schedule.
