Democratic incumbent Greg Stanton secured his party's nomination in the July 21, 2026 primary and faces Republican nominee Zuhdi Jasser in Arizona's 4th congressional district, which covers suburban areas including Tempe, Mesa, and Chandler. Multiple nonpartisan forecasters rate the seat Solid or Safe Democratic, reflecting its partisan voting index and Stanton's 2024 reelection margin. The recent primary outcomes and absence of competitive Republican challengers have reinforced trader consensus around a Democratic hold. The November 3, 2026 general election remains the resolution trigger. Late national shifts, turnout surges in Republican-leaning precincts, or unforeseen candidate developments could still alter the outcome, though structural factors favor the current frontrunner.
