The early stage of Baja California's 2027 gubernatorial race keeps trader probabilities tightly clustered, with no candidate exceeding low-40s implied odds amid a wide field of aspirants. Internal party processes, especially Morena's selection of a nominee, remain unresolved more than a year out, while limited statewide polling shows fragmented support across figures such as Ismael Burgueño, Gustavo de Hoyos Walther, and Juan Carlos Hank. Party preference surveys continue to favor Morena overall, yet the absence of a clear frontrunner or completed primaries sustains uncertainty. Further candidate announcements, coalition alignments, or updated preference polls ahead of the June election could widen gaps by clarifying viable paths to nomination and general-election viability.
