Dalton Eatherly, known online as Chud the Builder, faces pending felony charges including attempted first-degree murder stemming from a May 2026 shooting outside a Clarksville, Tennessee courthouse. Court records show he was arrested shortly after the incident, with bond initially set at $1.25 million before later adjustments and additional restrictions on public statements. As of early August 2026, no trial date has produced a verdict, and the case remains in pretrial proceedings amid separate misdemeanor matters. Trader consensus favoring no conviction reflects the extended timeline typical of serious felony prosecutions, the presumption of innocence until proven otherwise, and potential for plea negotiations or defenses that could avoid a full conviction on the top count.
