Cameron Young holds a slim lead in FedExCup standings at 2,504 points after his recent Cadillac Championship victory, closely trailed by Scottie Scheffler (2,431) and Matt Fitzpatrick (2,404), fueling trader consensus that bunches top implied probabilities around 14-16% for Young, Scheffler, and Rory McIlroy entering the season's stretch run. McIlroy's recent major contention, including strong Masters play, bolsters his slight edge despite trailing in points, while Scheffler's consistent top finishes maintain pressure. With key Signature Events, the PGA Championship at Aronimink imminent, and months until the FedEx St. Jude Championship playoffs, volatility from injuries, course fits, and momentum keeps the race wide open among the top 30, reflected in the crowded field of viable contenders.
