France's deep squad, recent victories over Brazil and Colombia, and Kylian Mbappé's return to form have cemented their status as the consensus favorite to win Group I at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Norway's potent attack led by Erling Haaland offers realistic upset potential, though captain Martin Ødegaard's ongoing knee and shoulder issues plus a recent poor run of friendlies have tempered expectations. Senegal's organized defense and attacking options including Sadio Mané provide a solid platform for a strong showing, while Iraq face the steepest climb against three established European and African sides. Trader pricing reflects these dynamics, with France's implied probability remaining dominant ahead of the June group-stage opener in New York/New Jersey.
