Barcelona enters the 2026-27 La Liga campaign as slight favorites to lead in clean sheets, buoyed by their league-leading 15 shutouts in 2025-26 under Hansi Flick and a strong defensive core featuring Pau Cubarsí, Eric García, and incoming midfield balance from Rodri. The closely bunched pricing across Atlético Madrid, Real Madrid (now under José Mourinho), Athletic Club, and several mid-table sides reflects a competitive league dynamic, where organized low-block defenses, variable early-season form after the staggered World Cup-affected schedule, and roster adjustments create uncertainty. Barcelona’s recent 5-0 opener against Elche highlighted continued cohesion, yet widespread managerial shifts and injury concerns across the division keep the race for the most clean sheets wide open through the long campaign.
