Goldman Sachs holds a modest edge over Morgan Stanley for lead-left bookrunner on Anthropic’s anticipated IPO, reflecting its stronger recent track record securing lead positions in high-profile tech debuts such as SpaceX. Both banks were selected in early June 2026 alongside JPMorgan Chase following Anthropic’s confidential S-1 filing on June 1 and its $65 billion Series H round at a $965 billion valuation. Revenue growth exceeding 14-fold in the second quarter has bolstered timing expectations for an October window, while the banks’ combined dominance in large technology offerings and separate team structures to manage conflicts support the current 56.5%–40.5% implied probabilities. Key catalysts ahead include any formal lead designation and final S-1 updates.

If no IPO occurs by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or Anthropic completes an initial public offering without a designated lead underwriter, this market will resolve to “Other.”
If multiple banks are identified as lead underwriters, this market will resolve according to the primary lead underwriter. If the hierarchy between them is unclear, this market will resolve once it is conclusively evident which bank is the primary lead underwriter, for example, through the order in which the banks are listed in the underwriting section of Anthropic’s final initial public offering prospectus, once released.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official disclosures from Anthropic. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
