Matvey Safonov enters the 2026-27 Ligue 1 campaign as the clear market leader for most clean sheets, reflecting his established role as Paris Saint-Germain’s primary goalkeeper following strong 2025-26 form that included eight shutouts in limited appearances alongside title-winning contributions in the Champions League. PSG’s defensive structure and attacking dominance provide consistent opportunities for clean sheets compared with rivals, elevating Safonov well ahead of competitors. Other listed goalkeepers, including Filip Jørgensen, Paul Bernardoni, Kevin Trapp, and Lucas Chevalier, compete at lower implied probabilities due to their clubs’ relative defensive vulnerabilities or rotational usage, though roster changes, injuries, or midseason transfers could shift standings. Trader consensus accounts for these situational factors and historical team performance in the opening weeks.

Only clean sheets recorded in Ligue 1 matches will count. Clean sheets in other competitions (e.g., domestic cups, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, international matches) will not count for this market.
In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official leader as determined by Ligue 1. If multiple leaders are announced then this market will resolve to the goalkeeper who conceded fewer goals during the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the goalkeeper whose listed last name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season is canceled or not completed by June 14, 2027, the market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official statistics from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
