The even 50% implied probability on Over 5.5 games captures the balanced Western Conference Finals matchup between the undefeated defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder and the surging San Antonio Spurs. The Thunder enter with superior playoff experience, elite defense, and home-court advantage after sweeping their prior rounds, yet the Spurs countered by winning four of five regular-season meetings and advancing with strong momentum behind Victor Wembanyama, De’Aaron Fox, and a deep young core. Recent form, stylistic clashes between Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and San Antonio’s perimeter defense, plus potential rest advantages and rivalry intensity, create realistic paths for either a quick Thunder closeout or a seven-game series. Late injuries or shifts in home/road execution could quickly alter series length expectations.
