Jakub Rychtecký leads a broadened Žijeme Pardubice coalition that incorporates additional civic groupings for the October 9–10, 2026 Czech municipal elections, positioning him as the candidate with recent governing experience as first deputy mayor responsible for budget, education, and social policy. Incumbent Jan Nadrchal heads the ANO ticket seeking another term, while separate candidacies from ODS under Ondřej Tichý, STAN-linked Daniel Vondra, TOP 09/Progresivní Pardubice with Martin Slezák, and smaller lists including SPD-linked options fragment the field. The closely matched trader consensus around leading names reflects the post-election council vote that will select the mayor, limited public polling on final seat shares, and the absence of decisive shifts in local alliances or major policy controversies in recent weeks that would clarify coalition math.
