Tomáš Portlík leads the market at 56.5% as SPOLU’s candidate for Prague mayor because his coalition assembled a candidate list heavy with sitting district mayors and emphasized concrete priorities such as faster housing construction, transport coordination, and school capacity ahead of the October 9-10, 2026, municipal elections. Traders appear to price in this organizational depth and Portlík’s prior popularity as Praha 9 mayor against fragmented opposition slates. Petr Hlaváček (STAN) at 19% and Adam Scheinherr at 5.5% trail as representatives of the outgoing coalition partners, while ANO’s Jan Hušbauer and smaller-party leaders such as Tereza Nislerová and Václav Láska sit near 5% or below, reflecting limited recent momentum or narrower bases. The tight field stems from the indirect selection process, where council seat shares determine the mayor, and no single bloc holds a clear majority path. Fresh polling shifts, coalition negotiations after the vote, or late endorsements could widen gaps before resolution.
