Newly promoted sides Hull City, Coventry City and Ipswich Town anchor trader sentiment for the 2026-27 Premier League last-place finisher, reflecting their limited top-flight experience and the historical difficulty of surviving the step up. Early fixtures have produced mixed signals, with Hull securing a notable opening win while Coventry and Ipswich showed flashes alongside defensive vulnerabilities. Sunderland and several mid-table clubs sit on lower implied probabilities after steadier recent campaigns, yet the narrow spread among the promoted trio and “Other” underscores how squad depth, fixture congestion and early results can rapidly shift standings. No side has established clear separation after the opening round, leaving the bottom of the table highly competitive.

If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish in last place in the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season (e.g., they are mathematically guaranteed to finish above 20th), this market will resolve to "No".
In the event of a tie for last place, this market will resolve based on the club officially recognized by the Premier League as finishing in 20th place. If multiple clubs are officially recognized as finishing in last place, this market will resolve to the club whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season is cancelled, postponed after June 13, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no last-place club declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
