Celtic holds a narrow edge in the Scottish Premiership most clean sheets market due to its squad depth and early-season defensive record, having conceded just two goals across four matches. However, the race remains tight because several sides, including St Mirren, Motherwell, and Hearts, have posted strong clean-sheet percentages in the opening fixtures amid a balanced league table. New managerial setups at Rangers and elsewhere, combined with summer roster turnover across the division, have kept defensive outcomes unpredictable so far. Historical patterns show clean-sheet leaders often emerge gradually rather than in the first month, with factors like fixture congestion, set-piece vulnerability, and goalkeeper form likely to widen gaps only later in the campaign. Trader consensus reflects this parity, with no side establishing clear dominance yet.
