Tennessee's 3rd Congressional District maintains a strong Republican tilt reflected in its R+18 Partisan Voter Index and consistent double-digit margins for GOP candidates in recent cycles. Incumbent Representative Chuck Fleischmann secured the Republican nomination without opposition in the August 2026 primary, while Democrat Anna Golladay advanced on her side amid limited competition. Nonpartisan rating firms classify the seat as Solid or Safe Republican ahead of the November general election. Multiple independent candidates appear on the ballot but have not registered measurable support in fundraising or polling. Late developments such as a major scandal, significant health event for the incumbent, or an unusually intense national Democratic surge could narrow the gap, though the district's underlying partisan composition and incumbency patterns limit realistic paths to an upset.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
