Jannik Sinner currently holds 13,450 ATP points as world No. 1 following his Wimbledon title defense, placing him roughly 1,550 points short of the 15,000 threshold with limited weeks remaining in 2026. A right knee injury forced his withdrawal from the Canadian and Cincinnati Masters 1000 events in August, raising questions about his readiness for the US Open and subsequent hard-court swing where maximum points gains would be required. While Sinner maintains a dominant win-loss record and substantial ranking lead, the injury disrupts his ability to accumulate points through deep runs in high-value tournaments before the calendar turns. Traders view these factors, combined with the rolling nature of the ATP points system and the compressed timeline, as significant barriers to crossing 15,000 before 2027.

"ATP ranking points" refers to Sinner's total points as shown in his official ATP singles ranking (the rolling 52-week total) in any official weekly ranking update published on or before December 31, 2026. If any single official ranking release during this period shows Sinner with 15,000 or more points, this market resolves "Yes."
The points total is measured strictly from the official ATP singles rankings, not the "Race to Turin" standings, live rankings, or any projected or unofficial total.
The primary resolution source will be the official ATP singles rankings published at atptour.com; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
