Valve's cautious patch cadence in CS2, highlighted by the July 28, 2026 update that expanded souvenir trade-up contracts and added collection-based sticker groupings without introducing sticker trade-ups, underpins the 87.5% implied probability traders assign to "No." Community discussions and speculation around the Cologne 2026 Major have generated momentum similar to a mid-season surge, yet Valve has prioritized other economy adjustments like Ranked Series stickers and dynamic pricing over full sticker contracts. Historical precedent from slower rollouts of knife and souvenir features reinforces expectations of extended development timelines, with no confirmed roster-like changes or announcements in the past month shifting the consensus. A surprise August or September patch could alter trajectories, but current form points to continued absence through fall events.
