Recent CS2 patches, including the IEM Cologne 2026 Major hub rollout and souvenir trade-up contracts, have fueled speculation that Valve is testing inventory mechanics ahead of sticker upgrades. Storage unit multi-select improvements and dynamic sticker pricing in the new shop reflect ongoing meta shifts in item management, keeping "yes" traders engaged despite no confirmed roadmap. Valve's deliberate patch cadence and lack of leaks create balance, with the November window still open for a surprise update. Roster-like dev priorities on core gameplay over trading features, plus historical caution around market disruption, sustain the slim "no" edge as the implied probability sits near even.
