The tight race for the 2030 World Cup final venue reflects ongoing competition between Spain and Morocco amid joint hosting with Portugal, with no official FIFA decision rendered as of mid-2026. The Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid stands as the frontrunner among confirmed sites due to its renovated capacity, central location, and Spain's status as defending champions, yet Morocco's planned Grand Stade Hassan II near Casablanca pushes hard with projected 115,000 seats and symbolic weight for the co-host. Recent reports highlight diplomatic tensions and competing bids, while Barcelona's Camp Nou and Portuguese options lag on logistics and scale. This keeps the unconfirmed outcome narrowly ahead in trader consensus, as resolution timing remains fluid into 2027-2028.

A qualifying announcement means an official confirmation by FIFA of the stadium or city selected to host the final. Bid proposals, venue lists, recommendations by member federations or bid committees, and media speculation about FIFA's decision will not qualify on their own.
If FIFA announces a stadium rather than a city, this market will resolve to the city FIFA designates as that stadium's host city in its official 2030 FIFA World Cup materials.
A qualifying announcement before this market's close date will immediately resolve this market to the corresponding option, regardless of any subsequent change to the venue or to the scheduled date of the final.
If no host city for the final is officially announced by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA
