Nene Royal’s commanding quarterfinal performance of Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun,” which earned Mel B’s Live Golden Buzzer and an immediate finals berth, has solidified her as the clear market leader at 62.5% implied probability. Her earlier audition cover of The Cranberries’ “Zombie” became the season’s most-viewed clip, generating hundreds of millions of views across platforms and widespread judge praise for her raw vocals, guitar work, and rock-star stage presence. Other Golden Buzzer recipients like Royal Lasers sit further back, while the crowded field of remaining acts reflects the typical uncertainty of public voting in later rounds. With the September 22–23 finale approaching, traders are pricing in Royal’s momentum from viral buzz, critical reception, and bypass of additional elimination rounds.
