Stella Lefty’s “Boston” holds overwhelming market-implied odds near 98% to claim the Billboard Hot 100’s No. 2 spot for the chart week ending August 29, driven by its consistent upward trajectory and strong multi-format performance. The country-pop breakout has climbed steadily on the strength of sustained streaming, radio gains at both country and pop stations, and viral momentum that carried it from lower ranks into the top five on the prior chart, where it sat at No. 4. Midweek forecasts have reinforced trader consensus around a new peak, reflecting the song’s broad appeal and airplay momentum heading into the tracking period. Realistic upset scenarios would require an unexpected late surge from a competitor such as a major new release or accelerated gains from tracks like Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” or Morgan Wallen’s “Been By Now,” though current data shows limited room for such shifts.
