Alphabet shares traded sharply lower on August 11, 2026, closing near $344 after falling more than 3.6 percent amid investor focus on the company’s elevated 2026 capital-expenditure guidance of $195–205 billion and completion of a $25 billion bond offering to fund AI infrastructure. Strong Q2 results, including 24 percent revenue growth to $119.8 billion and 82 percent cloud expansion, had already been overshadowed by margin concerns from the spending ramp. Broader tech sentiment remains sensitive to the August 12 CPI release, which could shift rate expectations and risk appetite. With no company-specific catalysts scheduled, GOOGL’s intraday performance will likely track Nasdaq moves and any revisions to AI spending narratives.

If the two specified prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve to "No".
Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding.
