With the June 2 Republican primary for New Jersey’s U.S. Senate seat just two weeks away, county organization endorsements have split between Richard Tabor and Alex Zdan, leaving the race too close for either to establish a clear advantage in trader pricing. Tabor, a state trooper and Army veteran, secured backing from Atlantic, Hudson, Hunterdon, Ocean, and Union counties, while Zdan, a former News 12 reporter and commentator, gained support from Bergen, Cumberland, Cape May, Essex, Passaic, Salem, and Monmouth. Both candidates are using distinct ballot slogans and drawing on separate bases of local party support. A scheduled debate on May 28 offers the next potential catalyst that could shift momentum or consolidate support ahead of the vote. Lower-polling contenders such as Robert Lebovics and Justin Murphy remain on the ballot but have secured far fewer organizational endorsements.
