Multiple songs sit near 50% implied probability for the #2 Spotify song the week of August 21, reflecting a wide-open race driven by Ariana Grande’s recent album Petal and its cluster of tracks competing alongside Steve Lacy’s “Oh Yeah?,” Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings,” Tame Impala’s “Loser,” and mid-tier releases. Sustained playlist placements, video drops, and daily streaming gains for Grande’s singles keep her catalog dominant yet internally split, while recent peaks and regional surges from Lacy and Todd create credible paths to the runner-up spot. Final weekly tallies and any late promotional spikes remain the decisive swing factors before the chart locks.
