Recent streaming data shows a tight race for the #2 U.S. Spotify spot behind Ella Langley’s dominant “Choosin’ Texas,” with Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings,” KAROL G’s “BbY WOW” collab, Olivia Rodrigo’s “stupid song” and “the cure,” and Tame Impala’s “Loser” posting closely matched daily figures around 850k–1M streams. Newer releases like ADÉLA’s “Ain’t in LA” and catalog tracks from Katy Perry and Justin Bieber ft. Nicki Minaj add volatility as weekly aggregates finalize ahead of the September 11 chart lock. Traders are pricing in this neck-and-neck positioning, where small daily swings in streams or playlist adds can shift the outcome before the weekly totals settle.
