In the ongoing Super Chess Classic Romania, a 10-player classical round-robin on the 2026 Grand Chess Tour, Vincent Keymer, Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu, and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave have emerged as early co-leaders after strong round-two and round-three results, including Keymer’s win over Bogdan-Daniel Deac and Praggnanandhaa ending Javokhir Sindarov’s long unbeaten streak. This recent form has shaped trader consensus around these three while Anish Giri and Jorden van Foreest also sit near the top of the standings. The deep field, featuring high-rated players such as Fabiano Caruana and Alireza Firouzja plus several in-form competitors with solid head-to-head records, sustains a tightly bunched market where small swings in results can rapidly shift implied probabilities over the remaining rounds.
