Trader consensus prices Iga Świątek as a narrow 30.5% favorite over Aryna Sabalenka's 25.5% for the 2026 Women's French Open, capturing the clay-court swing's unpredictability with no dominant performer emerging. Świątek, a three-time Roland Garros champion with superior surface history, retired ill against Ann Li in Madrid's round of 32 last month but advanced to the Rome semifinals via a top-10 win over Jessica Pegula, signaling recovery amid her new coach's recent Achilles injury. World No. 1 Sabalenka suffered early exits in both Madrid quarters and Rome—possibly nursing a niggle—yet her explosive power and season-long consistency maintain pressure. Coco Gauff's back-to-back Rome final run elevates her to 10.5%, while Elina Svitolina's upset of Elena Rybakina underscores the field's depth on Paris clay.
