Barcelona enter the 2026-27 La Liga campaign as clear title favorites after three straight strong seasons, positioning Real Madrid as the consensus runner-up at 53% implied probability. José Mourinho’s return to the Bernabéu and Madrid’s heavy summer investment aim to close the gap on Barcelona’s young core led by Lamine Yamal, though recent simulations project Madrid finishing second in most scenarios. Atlético Madrid sit third in the hierarchy at 24%, reflecting fourth-place form last season and limited title upside. Lower-probability sides from 10–10.5% reflect realistic long-shot potential in a league where mid-table teams occasionally overperform but face steep barriers against the top three’s depth and resources. The season’s opening fixtures will test these preseason expectations.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of LaLiga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of LaLiga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the LaLiga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
