Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” holds a commanding 95% implied probability for the Billboard Hot 100’s top spot the week of August 15 because of its unprecedented 16-week reign at No. 1, including a recent stretch where country tracks swept the entire top five. Sustained streaming, radio airplay, and sales momentum since its February debut have created a wide gap that newer releases have yet to close. Ariana Grande’s “Petal” and “hate that i made you love me,” which debuted strongly earlier in the year, currently sit below 4% as their initial surge fades. An upset would require a dramatic late-week streaming spike or major promotional push from a challenger, but historical patterns favor the incumbent’s hold through the tracking period.
