Close contenders like Ariana Grande’s “hate that i made you love me,” Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drop Dead,” and Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” sit in a tight race for the Billboard Hot 100’s #2 spot the week of August 15, with trader odds reflecting balanced streaming, sales, and airplay trajectories. Grande’s track benefits from sustained radio momentum and album campaign spillover, while Rodrigo’s recent No. 1 debut and Swift’s radio gains create crossover pressure; country-leaning entries from Ella Langley add further fragmentation through strong genre-specific consumption. No single song has pulled decisively ahead on Luminate metrics or social buzz, leaving room for last-minute shifts from chart updates or variant releases before the tracking week closes.
