Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” dominates trader sentiment at 73.5% implied probability thanks to its record-breaking 2025–2026 run as the year’s biggest country crossover hit, with extended Billboard Hot Country Songs and Hot 100 reigns, Song of the Summer honors, and strong ACM precedent. Its co-write with Miranda Lambert and massive streaming and airplay numbers have positioned it as the clear frontrunner ahead of the Sept. 10 CMA nominations, which placed it alongside Langley’s own “Be Her,” Megan Moroney’s “Beautiful Things,” Kacey Musgraves’ “Dry Spell,” and Stephen Wilson Jr.’s “Gary.” With CMA voting closing Oct. 27 and the Nov. 18 ceremony approaching, recent chart momentum and industry narrative continue to reinforce the market’s strong consensus around the track while leaving room for late shifts typical in song-of-the-year balloting.
