Scottie Scheffler's dominant regular-season FedExCup points lead of more than 800 over Matt Fitzpatrick sets the baseline for his 21% implied probability as the top market outcome, yet the three-event playoff structure—beginning with the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind—keeps the race competitive. Rory McIlroy's recent consistency and high world ranking support his 13.5% share, while mid-tier players like Daniel Berger, Cameron Young, and Tommy Fleetwood benefit from strong current form and the large point swings available across the St. Jude, BMW Championship, and Tour Championship. The bunched probabilities reflect golf's inherent variance, shifting leaderboards after each round, and the fact that any top-30 performer can accumulate the necessary points in the final stages.
