This market will resolve to the coach who wins the 2026 MLS Coach of the Year award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLS rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The tightly bunched probabilities for the 2026 MLS Coach of the Year reflect a season where multiple clubs sit within striking distance in the Eastern and Western Conference standings, with no team establishing clear separation through mid-August. Jesper Sørensen’s Vancouver Whitecaps have sustained strong form following their prior campaign’s deep playoff run and contract extension, while Bruce Arena’s San Jose Earthquakes posted an explosive early-season streak that earned a long-term deal extension. Dean Smith’s Charlotte FC and several other sides, including those led by Pablo Mastroeni and B.J. Callaghan, occupy similar points-per-game ranges amid balanced results, recent roster adjustments, and standard rest/travel factors. This parity across roughly a dozen contenders, combined with the award’s emphasis on regular-season points, wins, and tactical execution rather than playoff outcomes, keeps implied probabilities clustered in the mid-30s to low-40s percent range.
