LJ Martin leads returning production after topping the league with 1,305 yards at BYU, while Cameron Dickey, Wayshawn Parker, and Joe Jackson posted strong volume and efficiency marks. Cam Cook arrives from a national-leading 1,659-yard season at Jacksonville State, and Caleb Hawkins brings 1,434 yards from North Texas. Early-season results through Week 2 show no dominant leader yet, with backfields featuring depth at Texas Tech, Utah, and West Virginia plus injury or committee risks keeping outcomes fluid across the 12-team league.
